REU Program I have participated in the NSF sponsored REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) program as a mentor. This program has two components. The first one involves students in intensive research experience from formulating a research project to conducting the research and presenting the findings. The second component involves educational enrichment and social activities. More info See the list of publications that involve REU students	PEOPLE Program As part of this University of Wisconsin program, the SRC is teaching a 3 week class to rising 11th graders on the science of light. This class involves hands-on activities and interactions with scientists at the SRC. The purpose of the program is to attract underrepresented groups to higher education.
