In January 2004, Pavle Juranic, graduate student at the Univ. of
Wisconsin - Madison, joined my research projects and was working for his
PhD thesis under my supervision at the Synchrotron Radiation Center.
He graduated in April 2007 with a thesis titled "Multiple Photoionization
Studies of Atoms and Molecules Using Ion Time-of-Flight Spectrometry."
He is working now as a Post-Doc on the FEL project at DESY in Hamburg, Germany. At the 2007 SRC Users Meeting Pavle received the Aladdin Lamp Award "to recognize excellence in synchrotron radiation research performed at SRC in pursuit of a degree." |

Starting in September 2001, Jaques Bluett
has done his research under my supervision at the
Synchrotron Radiation Center. He has graduated in August, 2003, with a
Masters Degree about triple photoionization of neon and argon near threshold.
He has given a talk about his work at the 2003 DAMOP Meeting of the APS
in Boulder, CO. His work is summarized in a poster
and in two publications that appeared in
Phys. Rev. A 69, 042717-1 - 042717-7 (2004) and in Nucl. Instrum. Meth. Phys. Res. B 241, 114-117 (2005)

Dragan Lukic, formerly graduate student at the Institute of Physics in Belgrade
(Serbia) worked together with me on some of my projects.
In April 2000 and from March to May 2001 we investigated the Li2+-to-Li+
ratio at high energies (>200eV). During his visit in April 2003 we
have measured the Be 2pnl autoionizing states and the Be2+-to-
Be+ ratio from threshold (27.5eV) to 40eV. During his visit in March 2004, we measured with high energy resolution the autoionization resonances of Mg below the second ionization threshold. We also took a first look at single and double ionized C60 (buckyballs) from 7.5 to 40 eV. He received his PhD in October 2004 and is now working as a Postdoc at the Columbia Astrophysics Laboratory in New York City. |
